Georgia football players may not be on campus right now due to the coronavirus canceling classes and spring practices, but that hasn’t stopped freshman quarterback Carson Beck from staying busy. ATLANTA, Ga. — Kirby Smart and the No. 4 ranked Georgia Bulldogs took the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this afternoon for their Friday walk through before taking on No. 2 LSU in the SEC Championship. It’s the third straight year that Smart and the Dawgs have represented the Eastern Division on conference championship Saturday and fourth time that they’ll be playing in Atlanta with a championship on the line. Continue reading

It’ll be a family affair Saturday on The Plains for the Fromms as No. 4 Georgia takes on No. 12 Auburn with members of the football family on both sidelines. Georgia junior quarterback Jake Fromm will be looking to lead his team to victory and keep the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff hopes alive while younger brother, Auburn freshman tight end Tyler watches from across the field. Continue reading

ATHENS, Ga. — We are less than two weeks away from kickoff to Georgia’s season at Vanderbilt, and after the team’s second preseason scrimmage on Saturday, Kirby Smart was asked about the challenge of deciding on a 70-man travel roster. It’s a task that only three Power Five teams in the country have to deal with prior to their opener (Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Virginia Tech), and something that Smart said is always difficult regardless of the final number that make the bus.

ATHENS, Ga. — On the field, Andrew Thomas may be a potential future top-ten pick in the NFL Draft for his ability to bully defensive linemen, but off the field, his personality couldn’t be any more different. The 6-foot-5 left tackle is a gentle giant and comes across as best friends with several of his fellow offensive linemen. Saturday, it’ll be No. 1 Alabama squaring off with No. 4 Georgia in Atlanta for the SEC Championship. With the title on the line and a spot in the playoffs almost guaranteed for the winning team, neither coach will be holding anything back. After wondering whether or not he would ever be a scholarship player at the University of Georgia just two years ago, Rodrigo Blankenship finds himself in an entirely different scenario a pair of games into his junior season.
